A resolution condemning Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s territories was passed in the UN. Since Russia started war on Ukraine last February, the war has been going on for 8 months.
Russia has annexed four territories it occupied from Ukraine, but the world condemned the move as a violation of international law.

Belarus, North Korea, Nicaragua, Russia and Syria have registered their opposition by voting against the resolution. 35 countries, including India, abstained from participating in the referendum.
