Revealed: King Charles appears on a coin – but upside down from mum

The Bloomberg agency published that Charles’ new coins will be added to about 27 billion coins bearing the image of Queen Elizabeth, and these will not go out of circulation, unless they are worn or damaged, since coins can last about 20 years.
According to Ann Jessop, Director General of the Royal Mint, it will take time for all coins to be changed to just Charles’ likeness. The British taxpayer will not bear the cost of producing the new coins, as coins are always being made anyway to replace worn ones.
