CHENNAI: Publisher Badri Seshadri, who criticized DMK founder Annadurai, has been removed from the advisory board of the Tamil Internet Education Association. He participates in political debates on television.
The central BJP government, which is planning to start the MPBS course in Hindi, has released the textbooks for the same. The DMK and its allies are accusing the central BJP government of trying to replace English with Hindi in central government higher education institutions.

In this regard, a resolution has also been passed in the assembly. Following this, discussions regarding Hindi are going on in social media. In one such discussion on ‘Twitter’, journalist N. Vinod Kumar said, ‘You can learn Hindi in three months. Annadurai said that there is nothing to learn in that language,’ he had posted.

Badri Seshatri shared this post and said, ‘This is a ridiculous comment. If Annadurai had said this, he should also be called a fool’. This was a huge controversy. DMK members criticized Badri in harsh words on social media.

Dharmapuri DMK, – MP, Senthilkumar, requested the government to ‘remove Badri Seshatri, who criticized Annadurai, from the advisory board of the Tamil Internet Education Association’. DMK and many others have also emphasized this. Following this, Padri was removed from the Tamil Internet Education Association advisory committee and the Tamil Nadu government has replaced the committee. M. Venkatesan, a writer and former chairman of the National Sanitary Workers Commission, who strongly condemned this, said:
When the DMK opens their mouths, they only talk about freedom of expression, freedom of speech and freedom of writing.

But if someone criticizes them, they will lash out with all the bad words in the world. This is the history of DMK. Indira, Kamaraj, Rajaji, no one escaped DMK’s harsh words. ‘You can study Hindi in three months. Badri Seshatri has said that the idea that there is nothing more to read in that language is stupid. He said, ‘Whoever has said this about any language is foolish’.

No change

When asked about this, Badri Seshatri said, “I was fired because of the comment I made. The government has the right to add and remove from the group. However, I have no regrets about my opinion; There is no change in my position,” he said.
