In the Al Mourabitine district, falling within the second administrative annex of Pachalik de Taza, the census operation began at the home of Faouzi Abdelilah who enthusiastically welcomed the communal supervisor and the investigator from the High Commission for Planning (CHP), responding diligently to their questions.
In a statement to MAP, Mr. Abdelilah affirmed that his participation in the census stems from a sense of national duty, noting that this operation will allow public authorities to adapt their public, economic and social policies.
This spirit of citizenship and active participation was widely shared by residents of the Al-Mourabitine district, noted, for his part, the communal census supervisor, Abdelkrim Baba.
In a similar statement, Mr. Abdelkrim, a secondary school teacher, indicated that the census operation is taking place in “good conditions” with the mobilization of all, in coordination with all regional and local authorities after the recognition of field carried out the two previous days by investigators and controllers, who began questioning the population on Sunday.
He noted that the data collection process is completely digitized thanks to electronic tablets which facilitate the work of investigators, the objective being to accelerate the pace of the census and to verify the accuracy of the information.
Satisfaction with the conduct of the census, particularly the positive interaction of citizens, is shared at all levels of responsibility for the operation in the province of Taza.
In this regard, the provincial supervisor of the operation, Ali Chahbouni, stressed that the census is taking place in the best conditions, welcoming the all-out mobilization of local authorities and the unfailing support of the population.
Some 757 executives are mobilized to carry out the census in the province of Taza, with 137 vehicles to transport investigators to rural areas.
