Thankful is the name of the new song already published by the ex-beatle Ringo Starrwhich will be part of his next album Look Up of country music, which will be published on January 10 and is produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett.
“I love this song. I wrote it with my producer and engineer Bruce Sugar and I feel like we gave it a country sound Los Angeles. Lyrically, I always like to focus on the positive, and in this song in particular, what we can be grateful for,” Starr said in a statement.

The song features the participation of Alison Krauss and is the only song on the album that was co-written by Starr along with Bruce Sugar.
This new album by Ringo Starr arises after the meeting with Burnett in 2022 where the former Beatle asked him to write a song for the next EP which he has been working on since then.
After this, he returned with nine country songs, which put Ringo in line to record a complete album, the first of this genre to which he has great affection in 50 years.

“Starr will bring this new music to Nashville when he heads the famous Ryman Auditorium on January 14 and 15, 2025.”, highlights the statement.
