Atlético-GO did its homework and beat Anápolis 2 x 1, in a match played at Antônio Accioly and valid for the 5th round of the 2024 Goiano Championship. Guilherme Romão, just 6 minutes into the 1st half, and Luiz Fernando, Already in extra time in the 2nd half, they scored the goals that guaranteed the victory for Dragão and the team’s return to the G-8 of the state competition.
