The Portuguese national team beat the Polish national team in the third round of the group stage of the Nations League.

In the first half, the Portuguese upset their opponents twice: midfielder Bernardo Silva scored in the 26th minute and striker Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 37th minute. The Poles managed to pull one goal back through the efforts of midfielder Piotr Zielinski in the 78th minute, but defender Jan Bednarek scored into his own goal in the 88th minute.

Portugal and Poland play in League A in Group 1 along with the national teams of Croatia and Scotland. The Portuguese continue to lead – they won three out of three matches and scored nine points. Poland is in third place with three points.
