As early as 2024, Russia plans to launch a service with an interactive map of areas for drone flights, where it will be possible, among other things, to obtain information about their movement. “Preliminarily, the development of the service will be entrusted to JSC Concern VKO Almaz-Antey and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise State ATM Corporation (SC ATM), the development costs are being specified,” a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency told Vedomosti. He added that on the basis of the ATM Civil Code, a system for providing flight plans via the Internet and the public telephone network (PSTN) is already operating, which will become the basis for the development and subsequent development of a new service.
