by time news

Within the framework of SPIEF-2021, Rosneft signed an agreement with the United Machine-Building Group (OMG) on the provision of special and road-building equipment, the press service of the oil company reports.

Special equipment is also required for the implementation of Rosneft’s largest project, Vostok Oil. It is planned to supply motor graders, wheeled and tracked excavators, as well as snow and swamp-going vehicles. The Ural automobile plant, which is part of OMG, will also ship off-road truck tractors, tank trucks, dump trucks and other equipment ordered by Rosneft.

Norilsk Nickel also signed an agreement with Rosneft at the SPIEF. We are talking about complex logistics services for Vostok Oil: joint use of the infrastructure of the Norilsk airport, attraction of resources and equipment from the transport branches of the mining and metallurgical company. The agreement also provides for the creation of a new service center for servicing aviation equipment and additional infrastructure for servicing rotational personnel and air carriers involved in the Rosneft project.

Rosneft’s Vostok Oil project includes Lodochnoye, Vankorskoye, Suzunskoye, Tagulskoye, Paiyakhskoye and other fields located on the Taimyr Peninsula in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The resource potential of the Vostok Oil project is light sweet crude, which is superior in quality to Brent crude. The confirmed resource base of the project is 6 billion tons of oil (including gas condensate), or 44 billion barrels. The potential for oil supplies to commodity markets is estimated at 25 million tons in 2024, 50 million tons in 2027, and up to 115 million tons by 2030. It is also planned to build an LNG plant under the project. The total investment in Vostok Oil was previously estimated at RUB 10 trillion.
