Royal Romance: Prince Sverre Magnus Spotted Hand-in-Hand with Model at Märtha Louise’s Wedding Festivities

ÅLESUND / OSLO (Nettavisen): On Friday morning, the wedding guests of <a href="http://www.time.news/royal-romance-princess-martha-louise-of-norway-to-marry-shaman-durek-verrett-amid-controversy-and-love/" title="Royal Romance: Princess Martha Louise of Norway to Marry Shaman Durek Verrett Amid Controversy and Love”>Märtha Louise (52) and Durek Verrett (49) moved from Hotel 1904 in Ålesund down to the harbor, before continuing the journey to Geiranger by boat.

The Crown Prince family took the short walk down to the harbor, followed by a huge press corps, where Prince Sverre Magnus was seen hand in hand with a young woman.

The young woman that Sverre Magnus was holding hands with is Amalie Giæver Macleod. She was also seen side by side with the prince in the russetoget (student parade) on May 17. Macleod works among other things as a model for Team Models.

Nettavisen’s royal expert, Tove Taalesen, says she has heard rumors recently that the young prince has gotten himself a girlfriend.

– I have heard some rumors this summer that he might have gotten a girlfriend. If it is true that he has, then that is very nice.

Taalesen believes the events of the weekend present a great opportunity to introduce the new love.

– He really has the chance to introduce her this weekend, says Taalesen.

The head of communication at the Palace neither confirms nor denies whether the prince and the woman are in a relationship.

– We do not wish to share any information about her, writes Guri Varpe in an email to Nettavisen.
