State-owned Rupali Bank Plc paid tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of historic March 7.
On Thursday (March 7) in the morning at 32 Dhanmondi in the capital, bank officials led by Chairman Kazi Chanaul Haque and Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Jahangir paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation by placing flowers.
On the occasion of the day, painting, recitation, patriotic songs and Bangabandhu’s March 7 speech competition was organized with the children of bank officers and employees.
Tahmina Akhtar and Hasan Tanveer, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, General Manager Md. Harunur Rashid, Md. Faiz Alam, Mohammad Shahedur Rahman, Md. Ismail Hossain Sheikh, Salamun Nesha, Tanveer Hasnain Moin and Abu Nasser Mohammad Masud were present at all levels of the bank’s officers and employees.
Besides, Rupali Bank Employees Union (CBA), Rupali Bank Bangabandhu Parishad, Independence Bankers Parishad, Rupali Bank Executive Forum and Bangabandhu Engineering Council also paid tribute to the portrait of the Father of the Nation on the occasion of March 7.
