The governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that Russian air defenses shot down several air targets in the Belgorod region, which injured one person and damaged power lines.

A statement from Gladkov published on his Telegram channel today, Saturday, said: “Our air defense system was activated throughout the Prokhorovsky district – and several air targets were knocked down.”
He continued: “A man was injured in the leg in the village of Prilestnoye. The ambulance team immediately provided him with medical assistance and he will continue with further treatment in an outpatient clinic.”
The governor said: “In the village of Prokhorovka, the power line was damaged and the lighting was temporarily cut off on several streets. In the village of Mikhailovka, a gas pipeline was damaged in one of the houses and a fence was damaged. “
