The Russian men’s volleyball team beat Brazil in the group stage match at the Olympic Games. The meeting ended with a score of 3–0 (25:22, 25:20, 25:20) in favor of the Russians, they advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Russian team won the third match in a row and topped Group B with 9 points. In second place is the United States (6), third – Brazil (5).
In the next match, the Russians will play with the French team (takes fourth place). The game will take place on Friday, July 30th.
