The Anadyr interdistrict prosecutor’s office carried out an inspection at the Ugolnaya mine and found numerous violations of safety rules.
“The serviceability of the current leakage relay is not checked before starting work, the results of measurements of the control of the composition of the mine atmosphere are not entered,” representatives of the Chukotka prosecutor’s office listed the shortcomings.
We also found violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation. The mine has no room for ironing linen, ironing equipment, instructions for washing, disinfection and dedusting of linen.
The head of the enterprise was introduced. The Anadyr prosecutor will make sure that all problems are resolved in the near future. The issue of initiating administrative cases against an official and a legal entity is being resolved.
The check at the mine was carried out on behalf of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov, together with the Ministry of Education and Science and the PR for the Anadyr and the Anadyr municipal district, the State Labor Inspectorate for the PrJSC, the Regional Office of Rospotrebnadzor and the Far Eastern Directorate of Rostekhnadzor for hazardous production facilities for the PrJSC.
Recall that after the tragedy at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Belovsky district of Kuzbass, the governor of Chukotka, Roman Kopin, also demanded that a safety check be carried out at the Ugolnaya mine. He assigned this task to the Department of Industrial Policy and the Department of Finance, Economics and Property Relations.
