Kochi> Cyber expert Sai Shankar’s critical statement against Dileep in murder case. Sai Shankar told the Crime Branch that there were important court documents among the documents destroyed from Dileep’s phone. He will be questioned again by the Crime Branch for further clarification.
The crime branch had found that Dileep’s phone information had been destroyed in the case of a conspiracy to assassinate the officers investigating the attack on the actress. The Crime Branch had informed the High Court that important evidence, including WhatsApp chats, had been destroyed. He was earlier questioned by the crime branch, which found out that it was with the help of Sai Shankar. That is where the crucial statement came from. Sai Shankar said that the information in the phone was removed as per the instructions of Dileep’s lawyer. It was also revealed that court documents were among the group removed. If the statement proves to be true, the Crime Branch will investigate in detail how the court documents which were not allowed to be copied came to Dileep’s phone.
Sai Shankar was issued a notice for detailed questioning but did not appear for health reasons. Subsequently, his anticipatory bail application in the High Court has been adjourned for further arguments.
