Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will be the company’s first foldable device to receive the proprietary Exynos chipset. This was reported by the South Korean publication The Elec with reference to a “high-ranking Samsung Electronics employee,” Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.

According to the source, the foldable smartphone will be equipped with an Exynos 2500 chip, which will be produced using the second-generation SF3 3nm process from Samsung.

The chipset will include a 10-core processor with a main core clocked at 3.3 GHz, two large cores at 2.75 GHz, five large cores at 2.36 GHz, and two power-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz each. The graphics in the chipset will be handled by the Xclipse 950 GPU with AMD RDNA architecture.

It is noted that mass production of Exynos 2500 is planned for early 2025. In 2025, Samsung intends to release 229.4 million smartphones, including 3 million Galaxy Z Fold7 and 900 thousand new Z Flip FE.

Many Samsung fans criticize the company for using Exynos, noting their weak graphics performance and higher heating compared to Qualcomm’s flagship solutions.

The presentation of folding smartphones Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, Flip SE and Fold Z7 is expected in the summer of 2025. According to rumors, the first devices based on Exynos 2500 will be the flagship Galaxy S25.
