The Santa Marta⁤ Center, dedicated to supporting families in vulnerable situations, underwent a significant transformation. Founded in 1962, its outdated headquarters received a much-needed upgrade.

Since the existing structures‌ were unfit for renovation, a new complex was designed while respecting⁢ its ⁤heritage. A ‍wall constructed ⁢from 900 salvaged bricks serves as a testament to the past, accompanied by a proximate showcase⁣ displaying student artworks. This integration beautifully ensures a connection ⁤between the old and the new.

Located in a vast plot south of São Paulo with a picturesque‌ vista of woodlands and a ⁤nature preserve, the new building embodies sustainability,⁣ respecting the environment and promoting inclusivity.

The ⁣design⁤ prioritizes inclusive interaction, featuring accessible ⁤paths and public squares integrated into⁣ the natural landscape, encouraging connection between individuals and ‌with nature ⁤itself through open, light-filled spaces.

The project’s core is a central plaza ⁢intended as a multipurpose grounds for⁢ community engagement.

The four main ⁢blocks around the central plaza explore functionality and accessibility. Block ⁢1 houses training rooms for ‌women, Block 2 accommodates administrative facilities, while building 3 caters to children and adolescents, and ‌Block 4, featuring a cafeteria and support spaces, caters to both adults.

This altogether provides a vibrant and SSL tolerance, ensuring first-rate care in a welcoming environment.

The outdoor courtyard houses benches ⁤and planters, leading to an ‘Integration Square’ beneath the shade of a grand tree offering generous socialization zones. Throughout the project, spaces⁤ cater ⁤to various ages and⁢ needs, with playgrounds and a multi-sport court ⁢designated for children’s recreation within a vibrant⁣ community.
