Walldorf The dispute over the termination without notice of a former SAP works council chief has been settled. Both parties had reached an out-of-court agreement, a spokesman for the Baden-Württemberg State Labor Court told the German Press Agency in Stuttgart on Wednesday. A SAP spokesman confirmed on request that both parties had reached an agreement. “Mutual silence has been agreed on the details,” said the spokesman.

The labor court in Mannheim had dismissed an action for protection against unfair dismissal in December last year. The plaintiff violated a contractual obligation through his conduct. The fact that he manipulated data in a targeted manner and over a longer period of time resulted in a final loss of trust on the part of the employer.

Actually, an appeal date should have taken place before the regional labor court on Thursday, but this date is now omitted, the court spokesman said.
