Riyadh: Eid holidays have been announced in Saudi Arabia. Private sector and government institutions will have a holiday from April 8. The holiday will be six days including the weekend.
The Eid holiday will start in Saudi Arabia on April 8. The holiday announced by the government is four days. April 8 is Monday. The holiday will continue till Thursday. But since Fridays and Saturdays are weekend holidays in Saudi Arabia, those working in private companies will effectively have six days off.
April 8 is also a holiday for the government sector. Banks and financial institutions will make arrangements to ensure uninterrupted services. Employees of essential service sector establishments will be provided with a day off instead.
