Today, Friday, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah praised Iraq’s efforts to arrest fake Hajj companies.
An official source in the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement received by the (INA) that “the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah monitored advertisements for companies and campaigns in addition to fake accounts on social networks claiming to organize Hajj at attractive prices,” calling for caution against dealing with such campaigns and companies.” .
He added, “In this regard, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah praises the efforts made by the Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah in the Republic of Iraq, in cooperation with the Iraqi authorities, as more than 25 fake companies marketing commercial Hajj were arrested. It also appreciates the efforts made by all countries in Fighting this irregular phenomenon.”
The Ministry explained earlier that “Umrah, tourism, work, family visit, transit (transit) visas, and other types of visas do not qualify their holders to perform Hajj, calling on everyone to adhere to the regulations and laws imposed by the official authorities organizing Hajj, and not to get carried away by fake companies and offices, which… It claims the existence of commercial Hajj campaigns and other names.”
