A case resembling a real estate scandal is currently shaking the Cameroonian judicial system. At the heart of the turmoil: Mr. ESSOMBA BELINGA Arnaud Médard, Sworn Criminal Expert of Justice, held in custody for almost 10 days at the Public Security Police Station of Yaoundé 3rd (Nkoldongo), for having denounced the alleged fraudulent sale of land marshy land falling within the national domain in the ETAM BAFIA district.
A Criminal Expert who pays the price for his denunciations?
According to Mr. Siméon WACHOU, Sworn Criminal Expert of Justice and Operational Criminal Analyst, this imprisonment would in reality be a retaliatory maneuver orchestrated by two individuals, Andi Simon Pierre and Bony Eugène Marie, targeted by a previous denunciation by Mr. ESSOMBA BELINGA for facts of“serious damage to the brand image of the Ministry of Justice, organized gang scams, fabrication of false diplomas and others« .
In an incendiary press release relayed by 237online.com, Mr. WACHOU accuses these two individuals of “proclaim and disseminate within public opinion an imaginary victory on their part“, even though the National Gendarmerie is still continuing its investigative mission in this matter.
The body of Criminal Experts corrupted by “ thugs » ?
But beyond this legal standoff, it is the entire body of Sworn Criminal Experts who are affected by this affair. Mr. WACHOU does not beat around the bush: according to him, many “ thugs » et « criminals » would have succeeded in infiltrating this prestigious profession, with the active complicity of Andi Simon Pierre and Bony Eugène Marie.
« To their credit, they have succeeded in swearing in criminals experienced in drug use as well as former members of the defense and security forces removed from the police and the Gendarmerie.he accuses, even referring to individuals “who have barely passed the 4th grade at college or passed the CM2 class”.
A call for the sanitation of the body of Criminal Experts
Faced with this alarming situation, Mr. WACHOU calls for a “stronger mobilization of Cameroonian public authorities in terms of sanitation of this emerging profession”which could, according to him, “endanger the peace and cohesion dear to HE Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon”.
In particular, he urges the magistrates serving in the courts of the Republic to “ vigilance ” It front of ” malicious acts » of these individuals, who would tarnish the image of this “secular arm of the governing system”.
