Racing Club achieved a great victory at home against Bragantino for date 2 of the Copa Sudamericana. The Academy won 3-0 and Roger Martínez was key there, scoring the last goal to declare the victory.
The Argentines went ahead with a dressing room goal from Maximiliano Salas. The attacker received a great pass from Adría Martínez and was one-on-one with the rival goalkeeper and there he finished with great class.
Towards twenty minutes, Agustín Almendra recovered in the rival field and there he gave a pass to Salas who had a courtesy return with Martínez who received the ball and sent it to save with his left foot.
At around 75′, Roger came on to replace Maravilla Martínez to refresh the field and before the end of the game the Colombian scored his second goal in the Cup.
The goalkeeper Gabriel Arias served from his field and the ball was fought by the Colombian and in the area he won with pure power and then subtly defined the opposite post of the Bragantino goalkeeper.
With this victory, Racing added full points in the Sudamericana and in the next game they will face Coquimbo Kingdom as a visitor on Wednesday, April 24 at 5 in the afternoon.
