It was said in the seminar that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Russia has played an important role in creating educational opportunities in Bangladesh. Russian universities have accepted thousands of students from Bangladesh under this quota over the years, giving them a unique opportunity to engage in world-class education. Pavel Dvoichenkov highlighted the high level of education in Russia and the achievement of Bangladeshi graduates holding high positions in government and business, and the professional prospects of Bangladeshi youth applying for education in Russia.
The program included presentations by Russian language course instructors from Russian House in Dhaka and rectors of universities in Bangladesh who have received their education in Russia. During the seminar, Antar Mahamudul Hasan, a lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology in Moscow and a Doctor of Science in Information Technology discussed higher education in Russian universities. Quota application process for the next academic year will start from October 7 and will continue till January 15, 2025.
Participants were also informed about the activities of the Russian House, opportunities to study the Russian language through its courses, and opportunities to participate in various youth programs.
