Sennheiser has presented its latest proposal in the market for headphones focused on physical exercise, the Momentum Sport. Designed to withstand the stresses of a sweaty workout and sophisticated enough to track your heart rate and body temperature. This model is part of a trio of new launches from the firm at CES 2024, along with the Momentum True Wireless 4 and the More emphasis.

Heart rate measurement capability isn’t new to wireless headphones, but it’s still uncommon, and this feature hasn’t appeared in Sennheiser’s previous sports headphone models. According to the manufacturer, the new Momentum Sport headphones can track your heart rate using a integrated photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor and synchronize with sports devices and applications from brands such as Apple, Garmin, Strava, Peloton and Polar.
As for the features of these headphones, these headphones offer what you expect from sports headphones. They have one IP55 rating to resist dust and splashes of water, and feature a semi-open design to help you maintain awareness of your surroundings. Battery life is estimated at up to six hours for the headphones themselves, extending up to a total of 24 hours with the charging case -which can be via USB type C or via Qi wireless technology-.
