Mister Fabio Pecchia’s Parma continues its rapid race towards a return to Serie A. In the advance of the 29th cadet round, the ducals come from behind to overcome Rolando Maran’s Brescia at the end of a hard-fought and emotional match.
Rondinelle took the lead in the 16th minute with Alexander Jallow, who scored after a low shot from outside by Bianchi which was blocked by the Parma defence. The Crociati would have the chance to rebalance the score already in the 41st minute with a penalty awarded for Bertagnoli’s foul on Mihaila in the area. From eleven metres, however, Avella blocks Benedyczak’s shot. Parma’s comeback materializes in the second half: already after 7′ Man takes advantage of a defensive iniquity on the Bertagnoli-Papetti axis. In the 89th minute, after the double lightning yellow from Huard (who came on in the 84th minute and left Brescia with 10 men in the 87th minute), the hosts made it 2-1: Osorio’s cross from the right and a shot from winning head by Del Prato. Parma at 62 points and, at least momentarily, +9 from second and +10 from third place. Brescia remains at 38 in seventh place.
