Late on Monday evening, around 50 people in Neukölln built barricades and set tires on fire, the police said. At the demonstration in Berlin-Kreuzberg early on Monday evening, participants threw bottles at police officers and chanted anti-Israel slogans. There were also several arrests here, the police said on X. According to the police, around 400 people took part in the rally on the first anniversary of the attack on Israel by the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas. Swedish activist Greta Thunberg was also at the demonstration.
