Siyaram Baba: 12 years of penance on one leg, only 10 rupees in donation… Siyaram Baba was an ardent devotee of Hanuman ji.
It is said about him that he came to this area in 1955 at the age of about 25 years. After this, he performed silent penance by standing on one leg for 12 years. When he broke the silence, the first word he uttered was ‘Siyaram’, due to which he was named Siyaram Baba. Siyaram Baba, who used to wear loincloth in all seasons, did all his work himself and also cooked food himself. At present nothing has been decided about Baba’s successor.
