Work is in progress to link Aadhaar number with electricity connection number. Sending message. Electricity Board officials also said that even if electricity consumers have more than one electricity connection in their name, they can connect the same Aadhaar number.
In this situation, Minister Senthil Balaji said that 60.27 lakh electricity connections have been linked with Aadhaar till date in Tamil Nadu.
In a tweet posted by Minister Senthil Balaji,
“Special camps have been going on for the last 7 days. In the process of linking Aadhaar number with electricity connection number, today 3.64 lakh connections have been linked to Aadhaar through 2,811 division office special camps and 2.08 lakh connections have been linked online. Till date, a total of 60.27 lakh electricity connections have been linked to Aadhaar,” he said.
