A widespread protest is going on in the social media against Ranbir Kapoor’s film ‘Animal’, which was released on January 26 through Netflix. The rest of the criticism raised during the film’s release is also the topic of discussion in OTT.

The movie is promoting things like sexism and misogyny and there is a demand to withdraw the movie from the OTT platform as soon as possible.

“I am an Indian woman. The movie Animal annoys me a lot. It shows an Indian man having extramarital affairs. The cultural heritage of India is being transformed through this film.

The concept of one wife for one husband in this country is stigmatized. Please take action against this” many comments are coming against the movie.

Radhika Sarathkumar, RJ Balaji, Javek Akhtar and many others have come out criticizing the film. At the same time, there were huge protests on social media against Trisha who spoke in favor of the film.

There are those who say that ‘Animal’, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanka, who is famous for Arjun Reddy, not only promotes violence, but sexism and misogyny.

Ranbir Kapoor’s more than three-hour long film was a huge success at the box office. Animal also became the fastest film to enter the 300 crore club after Shahrukh Khan’s Jawaan.

The OTT release of the film was announced after a gap of two months. Ranbir also earned the title of superstar through Animal, one of the most violent films in Bollywood. ‘Animal’ is director Sandeep Reddy Vanka’s third film.
