Sofia residents already pay 3 times higher prices for “golden” anti-parking pegs and 2 times more for “golden” railings. This is what GERB-SDS MP Georgi Georgiev wrote on his Facebook profile.
“Until yesterday, an anti-parking peg cost BGN 18.68, and now at Terziev it costs us BGN 51.34. The same peg, just three times more expensive.
One railing cost BGN 82.60, and now it has more than doubled in price – to a record BGN 182.28 according to Terziev’s new contract.
These are the facts regarding the contract for marking and road elements of Terziev for BGN 11 million, concluded as an in-house procedure.
While Vasil Terziev deals with excuses and organizes supposedly business trips to Japan, and his deputies are in South Korea, Japan and Atlanta, our city is left without road markings, the frauds of PP-DB are going full force. And they don’t end with the 110% more expensive road marking paint.
‼️ It is more worrying, however, that Vasil Terziev does not know where he is. In violation of the rules, Terziev did NOT announce a competition for marking in the city and the contracts expired. That’s why Sofia stayed all summer without marking. To top it off, his team concluded an unprofitable contract for 11 million BGN with the municipal company Sofinvest. Out of the three offers, Terziev and his deputy mayor chose the highest one.
However, the people of Sofia pay the price. The increase in the price of road markings by 110% is another proof of the complete incompetence of Mayor Terziev and his team.
Again, I demand that the political leadership of the PP-DB immediately explain the actions of Vasil Terziev and say is this the “change” they are offering to the Bulgarian citizens?” Georgiev also wrote.
