In the Undersecretary of Intelligence and Police Investigation The chief commissioner, Hermenegildo Lugo Lara, with 35 years of experience in security and justice institutions, was ratified.
For her part, economics graduate Paulina Salazar Patiño was ratified as undersecretary of Citizen Participation and Crime Prevention, while in the Undersecretariat of the Penitentiary System, Mr. Andrés Ponce Aceituno, dental surgeon for the UNAM and part of the then Federal Investigation Agency, where he was assigned to the General Directorate of Tactical Analysis, Subdirectorate of Negotiation and Crisis Management of the Kidnapping Assistance Directorate.
