In the audiovisual material, several regime officials are seen walking through La Lisa in order to sow fear in the residents and prevent them from following the example of cities like Santiago de Cuba and Bayamo, and taking to the streets to demand freedom.

It is worth remembering that, since last March 17, peaceful demonstrations have been reported in different locations in Cuba, especially in the east, from where Cubans have taken to the streets tired and overwhelmed by the serious crisis “of everything” that is plaguing them. because of the failed communist system.
Hunger and prolonged blackouts have been some of the triggers that motivated citizens to come out peacefully to demand their rights and the definitive freedom that allows them to live in a country with democracy, and an economy that guarantees well-being and progress, avoiding having to emigrate to seek a better future.
These demonstrations began on March 17, but have spread in the following days, with the city of Santiago de Cuba leading the way, and joined by other towns such as Bayamo, Cárdenas, El Cobre, Cienfuegos, among others, in where the banging of pots and pans and the cries of freedom and Homeland and Life were the protagonists.
