Strengthening bilateral cooperation at the center of talks between Mr. Talbi Alami and the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro
Rabat – The strengthening of bilateral cooperation was at the center of talks, Tuesday in Rabat, between the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, and the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić and the delegation accompanying him, on a working visit to the Kingdom from July 15 to 18.
In a press release, the House of Representatives indicates that the discussions between the two parties focused on highlighting the particularities of the parliamentary experiences in Morocco and Montenegro, the dynamics of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary cooperation and the means of strengthening it. through mutual visits and the sharing of expertise and experiences.
The discussions also focused on the role of the two parliamentary friendship groups, the sustainability of bilateral and multilateral parliamentary communication in the service of strengthening dialogue, coordination and joint parliamentary action, notes the press release, noting that the two parties also exchanged views on numerous issues of common parliamentary interest.
On this occasion, the President of the House of Representatives expressed his thanks to the President of the Parliament of Montenegro for the firm position of his country on the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as for the enhancement of relations between the two countries founded on mutual respect for the national sovereignty of States and support for international peace and security.
The House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Parliament of Montenegro signed, on June 25, 2018 in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, a parliamentary cooperation protocol aimed at deepening all forms of cooperation through numerous mechanisms, including creation of parliamentary working groups and organization of regular meetings.
