Al-Ghawi began the visit with a meeting with the Tunisian Residential Real Estate Agency, where the agency’s work over fifty years was reviewed, its achievements and activities in Tunisia were highlighted, and the possibility of concluding a cooperation agreement or a training and exchange agreement between the two sides was presented.
The Minister also visited the Tunisian-Libyan Arab Consulting Office, where he met with the General Director and department directors. During the meeting, the office’s activity and work in Tunisia were reviewed, including completed projects and ongoing projects. The challenges facing the office were also discussed, especially related to the request to pay its dues for renewal. Licensing its branch in Libya.

In a related context, the Minister met with representatives of Soumtra Jatt Company, where the possibility of rescheduling the company’s debts with the Tax and Social Security Authority was discussed.

The Minister also visited the “Durrat Al Buhaira (2)” project, which has an area of ​​57 hectares, to see the progress of work on it.

This visit is an important step towards strengthening cooperation between Tunisia and Libya in the field of housing and urban development, and exchanging experiences and information, which contributes to achieving sustainable development in both countries.
