A new collaboration between Uber Eats and ClassPass aims to simplify the return to healthy habits for individuals in Spain grappling with busy schedules and the demands of work, school, and daily life.
As September winds down and routines reassert themselves, many find it challenging to balance work, family, and personal well-being. A recent survey sheds light on the obstacles: over 52% of Spaniards opt for food delivery due to exhaustion after a long day, and one in four report a lack of time for daily cooking. Recognizing this struggle, Uber Eats and ClassPass have joined forces to offer convenient solutions for healthy eating and fitness.
The September Reset and the Demand for Convenience
“September is a month of restart, but also of stress and tight agendas,” a company release stated. “With this collaboration, we want to make available to our users comfortable and simple tools so that they can take care of themselves: eating better, moving more and saving time.” The partnership acknowledges that many individuals struggle to re-establish gym routines or maintain a balanced diet after the summer months.
The growing interest in a healthy lifestyle is evident in ClassPass data. Through September 2025, the platform has seen a 146% annual increase in bookings for healthy gastronomic experiences across the EMEA region – encompassing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This surge includes reservations for salads, juices, and smoothies, indicating a rising demand for flexible and healthy food options.
Addressing the Barriers to Wellness
Retaking physical activity after a break is frequently cited as a major hurdle in resuming a routine. “Finding time to take care of yourself can be one of the most difficult parts when you resume routine,” noted a senior director of ClassPass growth marketing. “Thanks to our collaboration with Uber Eats, we are making it easier than ever so that people in Spain can give priority to their well-being, either discovering a new kind of fitness or asking for a shake.”
The collaboration is designed to remove friction and prioritize well-being, even during hectic periods. Uber One members will have streamlined access to both healthy meal choices and fitness and wellness services. New ClassPass users in Spain will receive a complimentary month and 10 credits to begin their fitness journey, while existing users will be awarded 15 additional credits upon upgrading their plans.
A Focus on Flexibility and Integration
The timing of this partnership is strategic, coinciding with a period when many are actively seeking to integrate healthier habits into their daily lives without sacrificing convenience. “With this collaboration, we want to make it easy for those who want to take care of themselves without giving up their rhythm of life,” explained a retail director at Uber Eats in Spain. “Eat well and move more should not be at odds with having a tight agenda.”
This initiative underscores a growing recognition that maintaining a healthy lifestyle doesn’t require a complete overhaul, but rather the integration of accessible and convenient options into existing routines.
