After Lift, Gavin starred in DaDa. His college friend Ganesh K. Babu has made his directorial debut with this film. It stars Aparna Das, who starred in the movie Beast with Gavin, Harish from ‘Moudhum Nee Nidhi Ne’ and K. Bhagyaraj, VTV Ganesh among others.
The story of the movie DaDa is written in the background of a young man in the current environment. The scenes range from the college student to the moment he becomes a responsible father.
The film’s hero Gavin – heroine Aparna Das are also college friends. Both fall in love, while Aparnadhas becomes pregnant. Kavin says to abort the fetus, Aparna says to have a baby. But after the birth of the child, Aparna leaves the hospital and goes with her father. Why did he go? What is the reason behind it? How does Gavin raise his child? Director Ganesh K. Babu has shot it interestingly and with little sentiment.
The scenes of Gavi raising his child after Aparna’s departure are delightful. Likewise, the director has conveyed some ideas to the fans through the visuals.
It should be appreciated that no unnecessary scenes have been avoided in this film. The same story could have been told in a completely comical context. But instead of doing that they have crafted the screenplay with a realistic sentiment.
Gavin, who is playing the lead role in this, has realized the scenes and performed well. Similarly, Pradeep who works in his office is entertaining with his scenes and Aparna Das has done well in some scenes but gives a feeling that she could have done better in the climax party. Apart from the actors, the cinematography and music are both strong points of the film.

There are some flaws in the film DaDa. Similarly, we have already seen ego problems between hero and heroine in many Tamil films. Apart from that, there are some new things, laugh-out-loud humor and beautiful sentimental scenes that will keep the viewers entertained. DaDa can be enjoyed with a smile.
