Stuttgart – He doesn’t want to earn money, he likes to get money for free!

Climate chaos Moritz Riedacher (26) keeps getting stuck on the streets, causing traffic jams and tyrannizing drivers. Because he couldn’t or didn’t want to pay the fines of 2,500 euros, he begged for money on the “GoFoundMe” donation platform. In just three days he had the money together and did not have to go to jail (BILD reported).

Now the Stuttgarter has one again appeal for donations started: He wants to have given 15,000 euros!

He writes: “The further penal orders and the convictions have meanwhile resulted in fines of around 18,000 euros for me. I can’t pay for this on my own.” The 26-year-old has already been able to pay around 3,000 euros through donations. Others should also pay him the missing 15,000 euros. If that doesn’t work, you face jail.

“The consequences that I have to bear through my commitment to climate protection were known to me beforehand and I also accept responsibility for them,” writes the “Last Generation” activist on his “GoFundMe” campaign. But he doesn’t want to face the consequences of ‘prison’. He would rather “avoid” that, he says in a video message.

So far, 7673 euros (as of Friday 8 p.m.) have been received. 266 people donated between 5 and 200 euros. On Instagram the climate sticker shared a screenshot of its call for donations.

The comments: “Go to work. (…) Didn’t your parents bring you up?”, “Hopefully a long time behind bars! Beyond that, how about work? Then you could actually be of benefit to society”, “Paying the €15,000 fine yourself is also a form of justice” and “You can’t seriously ask citizens to pay for their crimes?”.

When asked by BILD, he did not want to answer how much time Moritz Riedacher had left to pay the fine. One thing is clear: If he cannot pay, he faces jail!
