Shocked to see that in the production department, low-quality leaves such as stick, red and black leaves were purchased from the leaves stored in the ‘traps’, the minister said, ‘If this is the case, how can we pay the right price for tea? As, he scolded the officials.

He asked the farmers, who are already in economic crisis, what they are going to do by accepting this price. As the same situation was observed in the Italar Cooperative Tea Factory, he advised the officials to buy quality leaves.
