She wanted to do something different in the field of sarees. This is how ‘Suta’ started. He named it by combining the first two letters of his name, ‘Su’ and ‘Ta’. Both of them started it with a capital of Rs 6 lakh by investing Rs 3 lakh each. Before starting the venture, he visited different places to learn and understand weaving. Their aim was to make traditional clothes attractive and popular among young women.

Sujata and Tanya took the initiative to make sarees relevant among the generation that is active on social media. He decided to learn the intricacies of this work. Initially she went to the villages of Bengal and Odisha. Then she kept roaming across the country to make her sarees. She had nothing at home except a cupboard where she kept sarees.
