Gideon, known as a network host and presenter, often posts photos of her daughter and her son who was born last September. She is married to Hili Sorotskin.

As I recall, her son’s pregnancy was highly publicized. At the covenant ceremony held in a synagogue in Tel Aviv near their home with a limited family in the covenant, they announced the name of the new baby: Raphael.

Gideon, who runs a particularly popular Instagram account, and owns a deli for Shabbat food with her husband.

In the past, she talked about the issue of modesty: “From time to time I ‘get over the dosit’ which is completely off me. I don’t feel like I’m dressing up, or that I’m giving up who I am. It doesn’t contradict that in the morning I’ll be photographed strapless and in the evening I’ll dress modestly. It’s another layer added to my life And somewhere, it’s actually cool that I gained a whole world that I didn’t know.”

She added: “Unlike us, our girl will grow up in two worlds. And what I would most like to convey to her is that both are possible. That she can feel she belongs in more than one place in the world, and speak the language of more than one culture. If she sees that we don’t make an issue of these transitions , it will also be the most natural for her.”

She referred to her husband’s religious family, “Hili and his family never asked me to do anything for them or forced me to conform, and they didn’t even think to warn me when I did all kinds of stupid things at the beginning. We learned that the devil is not so terrible – not a secular bride and not ultra-Orthodox hotties.” .
