This is the first competition in France for the duo after the fortnight in Paris, which saw the two brothers win at least one medal: individual bronze for Félix, and team bronze for both as well as for their teammate Simon Gauzy.

In early October, the two brothers made a comeback at the Grand Smash in Beijing, China. Together, they reached the semifinals of the men’s doubles tournament, beaten by China’s Liang Jingkun and Wang Chuqin.
