Tablet number two and tough: Doogee R10 will be launched in May

by time news

The tablet market continues to be relatively active, and this time it is a rugged tablet from the small manufacturer Doogee. This is the second tablet that the company will launch since its existence, when the first was launched about only half a year ago, and it will be its first ruggedized one – a field in which it is one of the well-known players in the phone market.

The tablet will be based on MediaTek’s relatively new Helio G99 mid-market processor, and will come with Android 13 straight out of the box, and to run it users will have 8 gigabytes of working memory, which can be expanded by another 7 gigabytes virtually, and -128 gigabytes of UFS 2.2 storage memory that can be expanded by another 2 terabytes, at most, using an external microSD card.

The screen is 10.23 inches and is of the IPS type. It will offer +2K resolution. In its front frame there will be a 16 megapixel camera based on a Samsung sensor, and in the back there will be a 20 megapixel camera based on a Sony sensor – in both cases a relatively high resolution for tablets. There is support for LTE, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The tablet is of course wrapped in a thick rubber frame with specially reinforced corners, as well as an embossed back with more internal protections. According to the company, it is resistant to the IP68 standard and also passed the MIL-STD-810H tests. The battery has a working volume of 10,800 mAh, supports a maximum charging power of 18 watts and also supports reverse charging. It should hit the market this May.
