Singer and broadcaster Tak Jae-hoon posted a message mourning the death of the late Kim Soo-mi on his social networking service (SNS) account.

On the 27th, Tak Jae-hoon posted a photo of himself with Kim Soo-mi and Lee Sang-min in a rape field with the message, “I pray for the deceased to rest in peace. He loved rape flowers. I couldn’t say hello to you. I’m sorry.”

Tak Jae-hoon then expressed his regret, saying, “Why did you leave so suddenly? What was so urgent? You asked me to have fun, but why did you make me sad? I’ll see you again someday, rest in peace.”

Tak Jae-hoon, who was called ‘favorite son’ on TV and boasted of a special relationship with the deceased, was unable to visit the funeral home as he was currently overseas filming the SBS entertainment program ‘Single for Men’ along with singer Lee Sang-min. Tak Jae-hoon previously expressed his devastation in a phone call with News 1, saying, “I can’t feel the sad news.”

Kim Soo-mi passed away on the morning of the 25th after being taken to Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in a state of cardiac arrest. The cause of death was hyperglycemia shock due to chronic diseases such as diabetes. The funeral is at 11 a.m. on this day, and the burial site is Honor Stone in Yongin Park, Gyeonggi-do.

Meanwhile, Kim Soo-mi, born in 1949, debuted as a talent in MBC’s 3rd open recruitment in 1970, and established herself as a national actor by playing the role of ‘Daily Tusk’ in the MBC drama ‘Country Diary’, which was first broadcast in 1980 and met viewers for 22 years.

Afterwards, she showed her cheerful side in the MBC sitcom ‘Hello, Francesca’ and in various entertainment shows and movies. Until recently, he showed a friendly side by appearing on entertainment programs such as KBS 2TV’s ‘Sumi Mountain Lodge’ and tvN’s ‘Sumi’s Side Dishes’. Kim Soo-mi also appeared on the tvN STORY entertainment show ‘The Chairman’s People’, which aired from 2022 to September of this year.

His posthumous works include the movie ‘Ghost Cop’. The film’s distributor said they are coordinating a release at the end of January next year. ‘Ghost Cop’ is a movie that finished filming in 2022, and stars Shin Hyun-joon and Jung Jun-ho as well as the deceased.
