The number of corona victims in Tamil Nadu is increasing rapidly. After the third wave of corona, not only Tamil Nadu but the whole of India returned to normal fast. Restrictions imposed due to corona damage were relaxed throughout. Corona exposure is slowly increasing again when people are in normal life without any restrictions.
According to a report released by the Tamil Nadu Health Department today, 25,896 people in Tamil Nadu underwent corona testing today in a single day. Of these, 1,359 have been confirmed to have corona infection. Thereby the total impact increased to 34,65,490.

Currently 5,912 people are being treated for corona. Today, 621 people have returned home after recovering from corona damage. There are no casualties today due to corona infection. Today alone, 616 people have been diagnosed with corona in Chennai, 266 in Chengalpattu and 64 in Coimbatore.
