Pollachi; In response to the ‘Thinamalar’ news, the highway department officials repaired the steel wire that had moved on the new flyover on the Pollachi – Palakkad road.
A four-lane flyover on the Pollachi-Palakkad road was constructed at a cost of Rs 55.17 crore. It was commissioned last year after the works were completed. Every day, thousands of vehicles pass through this bridge.
In this case, there was a risk of accidents due to the shifting of the iron wire on the bridge. Due to this, motorists traveled with fear.
In this regard, the news with the picture was published in the ‘Dinamalar’ newspaper on the 22nd. After this, the officials of the highway department started repairing the iron wire.
Motorists were happy to say that since the wire was fixed, they could travel without fear.
