Salem: DMD Treasurer Premalatha Vijayakanth has said that the Erode East by-election should be stopped immediately.
DMD Treasurer Premalatha, who attended the wedding ceremony of Salem Metropolitan District DMD District Secretary Radhakrishnan, told reporters: The Erode by-election campaign is currently going on vigorously. DMK has adopted a new formula like never before. Although there are various parties in the field, it would be healthy if the DMK government, which claims to be a Dravidian model, conveys its plans and policies to the people and collects votes with courage. However, they have implemented the Dravidian Madal formula rather than the formula held in Tirumangalam and Kummidipoondi areas to an unprecedented extent and have kept the people locked up.
DMK has formally complained about this malpractice in the Election Commission, but no action has been taken so far. The Election Commission is having fun with its hands tied. The Police Department of Justice and the Election Commission must join forces to stop the by-elections immediately.
