Tanya Mittal Addresses Claims of Kissing Amaal Mallik’s Photo, Opens Up About Family Dynamics
Bigg Boss 19 finalist Tanya Mittal recently addressed accusations made by fellow contestant Malti Chahar regarding an alleged kiss on a photo of musician Amaal Mallik, clarifying her position and revealing insights into her personal life.
Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 concluded its run on December 7, 2025, but the show’s controversies continue to fuel discussion among fans. Tanya Mittal, a top-five finalist, recently engaged in a candid conversation with Telly Talk India, discussing her experiences on the show, her relationships with other contestants, and addressing specific allegations leveled against her.
During the interview, Mittal was directly questioned about Chahar’s claim that she kissed a photograph of Amaal Mallik during a task. Mittal responded by emphasizing her strong desire for a future family and children, stating that even seemingly small gestures, like applying mehndi, are framed with thoughts of a future mother-in-law. She also expressed a sense of loneliness, noting that it has been a long time since she has felt truly supported by those around her.
Mittal further delved into her family dynamics, revealing a degree of fear and hesitancy in communicating with her parents. She explained that she struggles to confide in them, even when she has been mistreated by others. “I am scared of my parents, and I can’t even tell them that a person has mistreated me,” she stated.
The conversation also touched upon her interactions with Ashnoor Kaur and Malti Chahar. Mittal asserted that both Kaur and Chahar actively contributed to the narrative surrounding the alleged incident, with Chahar even involving her brother. However, she noted that Chahar’s brother did not intervene on her behalf, attributing this to the family’s reserved nature. Recalling a question posed by host Salman Khan about how she would react if someone insulted his sister, Mittal explained that her upbringing instilled in her a value of forgiveness, a trait shared by her entire family. “Malti can say whatever she wants,” she concluded, suggesting she is unbothered by the accusations.
Addressing the core accusation directly, Mittal vehemently denied any romantic feelings for Amaal Mallik. She explained that had she been in love, she would have openly embraced the relationship without fear of judgment. “Farrhana se dosti main nahi na dari toh Amaal se pyaar karti hoti toh main bolne main bhi nahi darti, main toh on-screen kiss karke aa jati ki yaar main toh pyaar karti hu,” she said, translating to: “If I wasn’t afraid to be friends with Farrhana, then if I had loved Amaal, I wouldn’t have hesitated to say it, I would have even done an on-screen kiss and come out saying I was in love.” She reiterated that the lack of romantic feelings was the reason she did not engage in any such behavior.
Mittal’s statements offer a glimpse into the complex dynamics that played out within the Bigg Boss 19 house and provide her perspective on the controversies that have followed the show’s conclusion.
