This meeting, organized in partnership with the provincial directorate of agriculture, the provincial directorate of crafts and the Cooperation Development Office, is part of the celebration of the International Day of Cooperatives under the sign “Cooperatives build a better future for all”.
The meeting program included presentations which addressed the various difficulties encountered by cooperatives benefiting from the support of the income improvement and economic inclusion of young people program of the National Initiative for Human Development (support axis to the social and solidarity economy).
This meeting held under the theme “Assessment, constraints and opportunities to promote the social and solidarity economy in the province of Taza”, also discussed the opportunities available to develop the social and solidarity economy in the province and benefit from the support of the ‘INDH.
The head of the social action division in the province of Taza, Azzedine Oukili told MAP that the fields of activity of the beneficiary cooperatives are multiple and relate in particular to crafts, agriculture and tourism.
He added that the third INDH program, relating to the improvement of income and economic inclusion of young people, is intended for young people and includes financial and technical support as well as the creation of employment opportunities and strengthening the social and solidarity economy.
