The BCCI has appointed Rohit Sharma as the new captain from the one-day series against South Africa to replace Virat Kohli. The BCCI has announced that Virat Kohli will continue to captain the Test team. Before the start of the World Cup, Virat Kohli announced his resignation as the captain of the T20 team. The BCCI has now removed Virat Kohli from the post of ODI captain.

There is no other guy to beat his batting prowess. Rohit Sharma said that a great batsman like Virat Kohli cannot be ignored from a team.
He came from Virat Kohli as the best captain of the Indian team in T20 and ODIs. He has captained the Indian team 65 times in 95 ODIs. Rohit Sharma, who has captained the Indian team from time to time, has won many matches. He recently won the trophy 3-0 as captain in a T20 match against New Zealand. He has also captained Mumbai to five trophies in IPL matches. Goalie, who took over as captain after Dhoni’s retirement in 2017, has won several trophies for India, but not winning an ICC trophy is a black spot.
