As her condition worsened, Fernanda was admitted to a General Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a cerebral infarction, potentially caused by a blockage of an artery connecting the nose to the head.
Fernanda is now receiving therapy at home to regain mobility and is taking medication to dissolve blood clots and prevent seizures.
